Thanks to generous funding from Hubbub, our Community Pantry is helping reduce food waste while supporting local people. Every Monday, we receive surplus food donations from Lidl, including fresh bread, pastries, and other items that might otherwise go to waste.
This food is completely free and available to everyone, regardless of income or circumstance. Whether you’re picking something up for yourself, your neighbour, or your family, you’re helping the environment and your community at the same time.
Our Community Pantry is open to all – no forms, no registration, just good food being put to good use.
Please note: This service is separate from our Food Bank, which supports individuals and families in financial crisis. If you’re in need of a food parcel, please visit our Food Bank page for more information.
Conduct and Safety:
We ask that all visitors respect the space, staff, volunteers and fellow members. Everyone deserves to feel safe, welcome and dignified while using the pantry. Please be patient during busy periods and follow any instructions given by staff to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Health and Safety Guidelines:
To maintain hygiene and food safety, we ask that visitors handle their bags and the food items carefully. Staff and volunteers regularly inspect items for expiration dates and any food past its use-by date will not be distributed.
Hand sanitiser is available on-site, and we encourage its use before and after handling the bags.
